The music comes first. Then the numbers.

Our life revolves around EDM music. That’s why we show up. Getting a good sweat on and doing some exercise is great, but first and foremost we care about the music.

That means that we don’t care about the numbers. Pace, distance, heart rate. All important but not as important as a good bass drop.

We are a friendly bunch of people.

While we’re on the road running, we say “hello” to people sharing the road with us. This means people walking to work, other runners who haven’t joined the school (yet), Friendly and unfriendly dogs, Security guards and anybody else we run into.

It puts a smile on peoples faces and it makes us happy too.

Cyclists are bastards…so they get an extra happy hello.

t’s no secret that the only users of the road who don’t greet other users of the road are cyclists. This means that when we see them on the road, we pause the music and give them an extra special and loud “Good Morning”!

We run together!

We wait for each other to catch up. Not all DNBrunners are experienced runners. But all DNBRunners will become experienced runners.

Some are only comfortable running some of the way and walking some of the way. Some are comfortable running 10km while some only feel comfortable running 3km.
Whatever level you’re at, there’s a place for you in the community. Don’t worry. We’ll wait for you to catch up. And we’ll play the music loud enough for you to hear it every step of the way
